Do you want a Controlled Parking Zone for Kingswood Road?

Kingswood Road signSeveral residents of Kingswood Road have contacted Brixton Hill’s councillors about parking on Kingswood Road. As the Brixton Hill Controlled Parking Zone has moved further up the hill and the Kings Avenue developments have residents-only parking, it means that Kingswood and one or two neighbouring roads have the only all-day free parking in the neighbourhood.

The residents who have written to us favour the extension of Controlled Parking to Kingswood Road. This would mean residents and their visitors would have to pay for permits to park, but it would largely stop parking there by commuters and those from other areas.

We want to know what you think. Would you favour a Controlled Parking Zone here? Let us know using the form below or at s.coop/kingswood.
