UPDATE! Lambeth will ensure every child who needs it has free school meals for half term next week.
Residents told us that cars were crossing the kerb at the corner of Dumbarton & Lyham rds, putting pedestrians in danger. A week later and we’ve been able to get the Council to install a bollard to make the junction a little safer.
Information on what will and won’t be possible as we move to High Alert or Tier 2.
Plans have been announced for the Tulse Hill Low Traffic Neighbourhood, covering the area either side of Upper Tulse Hill and down Brixton Hill. Work starts on safer streets by 28 September!
Cornerstone Road now has a school street each morning and afternoon to make it safer for children attending Christ Church and Orchard Primary Schools. Need this at your school? Find out more at www.lambeth.org.uk/schoolstreets
We were so pleased to be at the opening of the brand new Education Centre at @brixtonwindmill today. Congratulations to the Friends and thank you to all the donors and to @lambeth_council for raising the funds that made it possible. Looking forward to many events in the centre for years to come!
Promoted by Martin Tiedemann on behalf of Lambeth Labour, all at 264 Rosendale Road, London SE24 9DL.
