TONIGHT: Chuka Umunna debates Europe in Brixton Hill

Chuka Umunna MP is taking part in a public meeting tonight to hear both sides of the European Referendum debate.

Chuka will be speaking on behalf of the Remain campaign with Mustafa Jameel in favour of Leave.

The event takes place at 7.30pm, 15th June 2016, at Corpus Christi Church Hall on Trent Road.

This week: Consultation meeting on Lambeth College redevelopment

Trinity Academy picLocal MP Chuka Umunna is holding a People’s Question Time on 4 March for residents to raise concerns with him, councillors and others regarding the redevelopment of Lambeth College on Brixton Hill.

Whilst many residents seem to be in favour for the site remaining a centre of education, rather than housing or retail, there is widespread concern regarding the lack of consultation given to residents regarding the proposals, despite councillors raising this with developers.

Corpus Christi Christmas Fair this weekend

Saturday 30th November sees the Corpus Christi Christmas Fair from 12 noon until 4pm.

Head on down to Trent Road for Santa’s Grotto, the toy stall, in the International Food Hall, live festive music, arts and crafts and beautiful Christmas wreaths, mulled wine and Irish Coffee, raffle and tombola, home produce and book stall.

Entry is £1 for adults, free for children.
