Road closure of Acre Lane planned for 29 April to allow crane to be installed

Acre Lane is to be closed to traffic entering from Brixton Hill on 29th April to allow a crane to be brought onto the development site by the Town Hall. The footpath on that side of Acre Lane between the Town Hall and Buckner Road will also be closed and buses will be diverted. Traffic will be able to travel east along Acre Lane into Brixton but delays are possible.

Works to improve zebra crossing on Kings Avenue will be completed next week

pedestrian-crossing-160672_640The planned works to improve the zebra crossing on Kings Avenue will be completed 9th to 17th April.  The road will be temporarily reduced to one lane and temporary signals will be used during the main works at the weekend. No works will take place on Easter Sunday.

Next Brixton Hill Safer Neighbourhood Panel on 6 April


The next Brixton Hill Safer Neighbourhood Ward Panel meeting takes place on Thursday 6 April at 7pm. The venue is the Clapham Park Project at 1-4 Brixton Hill Place off Brixton Hill, SW2 1HJ.
The panel is an opportunity to discuss local concerns and to and set priorities for the local police team. The agenda will include a discussion on issues facing Porden Road by the Town Hall.
